Taipei Representative Office in the U.K. Edinburgh Office was established in April 1998. It represents the people and government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Scotland, North England (above Durham and Cumbria) and the Isle of Man. It provides consular services and aims to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperations in trade, investment, culture, education, media, science, and technology with Scotland, North England and the Isle of Man.
