Amb. Alexander Tah-Ray Yui hosted and welcomed a Fu Jen Catholic University delegation led by President Francis Yi-Chen Lan at Twin Oaks on April 2nd. Both sides warmly exchanged their views on Taiwan-U.S. relations.
Amb. Yui affirmed FJCU’s contribution to cultivating Taiwan’s pool of diplomatic and foreign language talent and recalled his participation in the “World Cup Taiwan” event held at the university’s stadium many years ago. He also hoped the delegation’s visit would help further expand collaboration with sister schools in the United States in the fields of education, academic research, and talent cultivation.
