Visa, Passport & Document Authentication
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston offers full consular services in three areas: passport administration, visa administration, and document authentication. The passport administration sector deals with ROC passport production and issuance; the visa administration sector is responsible for the issuance of diplomatic, courtesy, resident, and visitor visas; and the document authentication sector is in charge of certifying the authenticity of documents such as diplomas, marriage/birth/death certificates and business documents.

Starting from August 1, 2022, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston) will change its in-person consular service hours to 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 2 pm-4 pm, Monday-Friday. Appointment not required.
