Lt Governor Sheila Simon delivered a remark at the Midwest Hakka Association

The Mid-West Hakka A Association held its Annual Meeting/New Year Dinner Gala at the Chinese Cultural Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Chicago on the evening of Saturday March 1st. Mr. Andy Tseng, Deputy Director General of TECO in Chicago, has been invited to witness the Association’s presidency transferring. More than 200 guests, including Lt. Governor of Illinois Sheila Simon and her husband Perry, Director Steven Lin of TECO, attended the event. Both Lt. Governor Simon and Mr. Tseng praised the contributions made by the Hakka Association in the past years and look forward to its continued support and efforts.
