Director General Yvonne Hsiao was delighted and honored to join Director Raymond Greene of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and Director General Charlie Chiang of the Department of NGO International Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in cheering on Taiwan’s national drone team at XPONENTIAL 2025!
Led by Chairman Hu Kai-Hung of Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), the Taiwan Excellence Drone International Business Opportunities Alliance (TEDIBOA) brought together dozens of outstanding Taiwanese drone companies to participate in the world’s largest unmanned systems exhibition in Houston, showcasing Taiwan’s technological strength and global ambition in the UAVs industry.
At the XPONENTIAL, they attended the U.S.-Taiwan Autonomous Systems Cooperation Forum, where they jointly witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TEDIBOA and the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), as well as another MOU between the Taiwan Defense Industry Development Association and the Oklahoma Defense Industry Association (ODIA). They also attended the grand opening of the Taiwan Pavilion.
Director General Chiang and Director General Hsiao then visited the Taiwanese booths to learn more about Taiwan’s UAV and component innovations.
