Notice: Taiwan Arrival Card Required for Certain Travelers Prior to Entry

All foreign nationals—except those holding a valid ROC (Taiwan) Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), Diplomatic ID Card, or Resident Visa—are required to complete the “Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC)” issued by the National Immigration Agency within three days prior to entering the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Who is required to complete the form?
Foreign nationals who do not hold a valid ROC (Taiwan) ARC, Resident Visa, or Diplomatic ID Card.
Nationals of the People's Republic of China holding a multiple-entry permit for tourism purposes.
Hong Kong and Macao residents holding a multiple-entry permit.
Nationals without household registration in Taiwan who do not possess a valid ROC (Taiwan) ARC.
