We were pleased to welcome Christine Del Portillo, Director of Senator Rick Scott’s South Florida office, who visited to deliver Senator Scott’s New Year greetings to the Taiwanese community in Florida.
Director Portillo highlighted Senator Scott’s unwavering support for Taiwan and his belief that Taiwan-U.S. cooperation will continue to strengthen, fostering regional peace and stability.
Director-General Chou also discussed the recent "Memorandum of Understanding" signed between Taiwan and Florida in January, which aims to boost bilateral trade ties and further deepen their mutually beneficial partnership.
