On March 10th, Director General Chou welcomed Tai Vaz, Chair of the Asian Affairs Advisory Board of Miami-Dade County, and Joshua Ho, Program Director, to our office. During their visit, they presented a thank-you plaque on behalf of the Miami-Dade County Government to express their gratitude for our active participation in the "Asian Cultural Festival."
They mentioned that the "Techno Three Princes" performance, the Taiwan Night Market "Pinball Game," and the variety of traditional foods we showcased at the festival this year were all well received. Several county officials, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, praised Taiwan’s genuine and vibrant culture.
DG Chou thanked Mayor Levine Cava for recognizing Taiwan as an "important friend" of Miami-Dade County in her festival speech. Moving forward, our office will continue to strengthen ties with the local Taiwanese-American business community and take part in various events across South Florida to showcase our unique cultural charm.
