On the afternoon of April 8, Director General Chou Chi-yu, along with Section Chief Yu Chia-hsiang and Director Huang Yi-cheng from the Tourism Administration, MOTC, met with Governor Albert Bryan of the U.S. Virgin Islands, who was also attending Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 in Miami. Director General Chou encouraged Governor Bryan to consider visiting Taiwan ?? again in the future, and both sides exchanged views on enhancing cruise tourism cooperation between Taiwan and the Virgin Islands.
Following the meeting, Director General Chou and Director Huang were invited to visit the Virgin Islands’ booth at the venue, where they enjoyed a relaxed interaction with local Jumbie performers.
