Ms. Liao’s company specializes in sourcing fresh produce from Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras, supplying Chinese supermarkets across Florida and major cities throughout the United States. The business exemplifies the important role that overseas Taiwanese enterprises play in the global agricultural supply chain.
During the visit, DG Chou and Ms. Liao held in-depth discussions on the current state of agricultural development in Florida, as well as broader economic and agricultural trends in Central America. They also explored opportunities to strengthen agricultural cooperation between Taiwan, Florida, and the Central American region.
