Meeting with Mayor Jose “Pepe” Diaz of Sweetwater on 8/28

Director General Chou had the honor of meeting with Mayor Jose “Pepe” Diaz of Sweetwater and Director of Community Affairs and Special Projects Stephanie Butka of the City of Sweetwater on August 28th over lunch. Mayor Diaz shared a short briefing about the developments that have been made in Sweetwater over the past year, not only in its local community, but on an international scale with many companies from all over the world residing in the city. Director General Chou was very happy to hear this as Taiwan’s very own hardware manufacturer ADATA Technology Co. has a facility residing in the City of Sweetwater. We hope that the City of Sweetwater and Taiwan can continue to have a friendly relationship and discuss future collaboration.

Director General Chou also extended a friendly invitation to the Mayor and staff members of the City of Sweetwater to our 113th National Day Reception this coming October, with hopes to further strengthen ties between Taiwan, the State of Florida, and the United States.
