Position: Project Manager
Office Location: 1 Penn Plaza, Suite 2025, New York, NY 10119
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship status or legal right to work
- Bachelor’s degree. Background in business, marketing, and international trade will be a plus, but not required.
- Fluency in English. Mandarin Chinese is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Highly motivated to work individually and as a team member in a multicultural setting.
- Good team player with a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
- Write reports on marketing surveys, competitiveness reports, industrial analyses, and other related topics.
- Assist local US companies in doing business with Taiwan, and vice versa, including trade shows, sourcing, and procurement events.
Project depth ranges from assisting small companies with simple
sourcing initiatives to work closely with multinational companies
to find business partners in Taiwan. - Promote Taiwan International Trade Shows; invite U.S. businesses
to participate in or visit exhibitions in Taiwan; invite professional media from the U.S. to visit Taiwan to report on the competitiveness of Taiwan’s industries. - Invite U.S. businesses to attend sourcing and procurement events with Taiwanese companies.
- Explore business opportunities in the U.S. market and report business information. In charge of researching various industries/companies in order to conduct outreach initiatives to promote our services and Taiwan’s industries and products.
- Assist in organizing and executing promotional events.
- Maintain social media accounts.
- Support special projects and assignments, depending on the exigencies of work.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
Hourly pay: $21.8
