Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) in the United States was established pursuant to the Taiwan Relations Act (PL. 96-8), for the purpose of promoting and strengthening economic, cultural, educational and other bilateral ties between the United States and the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Seattle office (TECO-Seattle), overseen by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States, represents the interests of ROC (Taiwan) in Northwest Region of the USA.
TECO-Seattle handles a variety of services, covering area includes Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle is located in Bellevue. The Center provides a venue for a diverse range of cultural events including art exhibitions, musical concerts, dance programs, educational lectures, and ongoing courses in traditional Chinese arts.
