Washington State Senate Passed the Resolution in Support of Taiwan

Followed by the Washington State House of Representatives, Washington State Senate also passed the resolution in support of Taiwan-SR8612 on April 8, 2021. TECO in Seattle extends its gratitude to all the supporting legislators, especially Senator Honeyford, Senator King, Senator Wagoner, Senator Salomon, Senator Rivers, and Senator Dozier.
In the SR8612, the resolution affirms that the United States government has expressed views similar to Taiwan before various international bodies and organizations. It also addresses the donation of medical masks from Taiwan to Washington State and honors the historic trade partnership, the continued cooperative relationship, and the enduring mutual appreciation and affection of our peoples.
