Director General Daniel Chen was invited by Washington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs and State Senator Curtis King to tour the Monson Fruit Company, Fortuity Winery and Two Mountain Winery at Yakima on July 27th. They tour the selection and packaging facility of cherries and explore the cooperation of the export of Washington wine.
Taiwan ranks the 4th largest market for Washington State in Asia and ranks the top three buyers for Washington apples, cherries and potatoes. Both sides enjoyed a close and robust trade and economic relationship. TECO in Seattle greatly appreciates Secretary Hobbs and Senator King for organizing the tour and will continue to bridge companies of both sides to further deepen the businesses opportunities.
