1. This reference table is not a complete list of all animals and plants that inbound travelers could possibly bring with them. Check with the Bureau of Plant and Animal Health Inspection and Quarantine (BAPHIQ) to confirm whether an animal or plant product that is not included in the table must be declared and quarantined.

2. Refer to the latest announcement on the current version of pandemic or quarantine regulations.
3. Travelers bringing in animals, animal products, plants, and plant products that are of concern to food safety, customs, or endangered animals should contact relevant authorities.
4. Travelers who bring in animals, animal products, or plants, and plant products can voluntarily dispose of them in the quarantine bin set by BAPHIQ at the corridor and arrival hall of the airport. If travelers have relevant certificates ready (e.g. quarantine certificate of the export country), they must fill out the customs declaration form in detail and proceed to the customs declaration counter (indicated with red lines) to go through the inspection process.
5. The maximum amount of items travelers are allowed to bring is specified in the “Table of Quantity Limit for Inbound Travelers Carrying Personal Livestock, Aquatic Products, Tobacco and Alcohol, Items from Mainland China”, as well as “Medicine, Environmental and Animal Drugs for Personal Use.” For more details, dial the free service number 008-311085 to contact Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance.
6. Travelers bringing in plants or plant products who fail to declare as required will be fined between NT$3,000 and NT$15,000. Travelers bringing in animals or 2 animal products who fail to declare as required will be fined between NT$10,000 and NT$1,000,000.
