Welcome the Delegation of Washington State and Oregon State Legislative Leadership Delegation to Taiwan

Lt. Governor Denny Heck of the State of Washington and 10 state legislators from Washington and Oregon visited Taiwan in September. The delegation met with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Agriculture, and also visited China Airlines, EVA Airways, AIDC, Yulon Motors, TSMC, etc.
Washington and Oregon are home to many high-tech, aerospace, cloud-computing manufacturers such as Amazon, Boeing, Costco, Intel, Microsoft, Nike, and Starbucks. We look forward to a more enhanced relationship between Taiwan and the Pacific Northwest.
