Taiwanese-Luxembourgish youth networking dinner co-organized with MP Paul Galles

On May 2, the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium and Mr. Paul Galles, Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, co-organized a networking dinner for Taiwanese and Luxembourgish youth in Luxembourg to promote the Working Holiday Program and strengthen exchanges between both sides.
Attendees included current and previous working holiday program participants, Mr. Yves Berna, President of the Association Luxembourg-Taiwan R.O.C., Secretary Sylvie Hoschet, members of the Association des Taïwanais de la Grande Région de Luxembourg, and young Luxembourgers who had received the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship to study in Taiwan.
Speaking during the dinner, Mr. Galles emphasized the importance of refreshing the friendship between both the youths of Luxembourg and Taiwan, and affirmed the event’s importance in strengthening people-to-people exchanges.
Mr. Roland Yang, Deputy Representative of this office, commended the young people for exploring Taiwan and Luxembourg through the working holiday program and scholarships. He also took the opportunity to provide a brief update on the current state of Taiwan-Luxembourg relations, as well as the progress that has been made over recent years.
The dinner lasted around three hours, during which both sides enjoyed a pleasant evening.
