I. Qualification requirements:
1. Be Belgian citizens residing in Belgium at the time of application.
2. Be between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive) on the date the application is submitted.
3. Come unaccompanied by dependents.
4. Not have previously benefited from this Working Holiday Program.
II. Required Documents:
Applicants who meet the above requirements should submit the following documents:
1. Two 2-inch color passport photos
2. Proof of overseas travel health insurance for the duration of stay
3. A certificate of good conduct + Chinese translation (legalized)
4. A medical report issued within the past three months (legalized)
5. Proof of a valid return ticket or sufficient sources to purchase one
6. Proof of sufficient financial resources (at least €2500)
7. Hold a Belgian passport valid for at least fifteen months from the day the visa is issued.
III. Application procedure:
Step 1:
Go to the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium to submit the following documents IN PERSON:
1. A completed and signed visa application form for the working holiday program ( https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw)
2. Belgian passport valid for at least fifteen months from the day the visa is issued + 1 photocopy.
3. Belgian ID card + 1 photocopy.
4. Two 2-inch color passport photos
5. Proof of overseas travel health insurance for the duration of stay
6. A legalized certificate of good conduct + Chinese translation

7. A legalized medical report issued within the past three months

8. Proof of a valid return ticket or sufficient sources to purchase one
9.Proof of sufficient financial resources (at least €2500)
10. 5 working days to issue the visa
Step 2:
Pay the non-refundable application fee of €95.
IV. Type of Visa issued: Visitor Visa
Notice:
1. Belgian participants will initially receive a six-month visa which can be extended for additional six months.
2. No later than 15 days before the expiry of their six-month visa, participants may apply for the extension at the National Immigration Agency service center in their city or county of residence in Taiwan.
4. No further extensions or changes to visa type will be permitted thereafter. Participants are permitted to engage in either employment or study/training for no more than six months of their stay.
