On April 16, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston co-hosted a seminar with the Ash Center at Harvard Kennedy School titled “Navigating Priorities: Trump 2.0 and Implications for the Indo-Pacific.” The event was moderated by Professor Edward Cunningham of Harvard University, with featured speakers Rana Mitter, Director of Asia Relations at the Kennedy School, and Colonel Kira Coffey of the U.S. Air Force.
The two speakers shared insights from historical and defense strategic perspectives on U.S.-China-Taiwan relations, the Trump administration’s Indo-Pacific strategy and allied coordination, as well as China’s gray zone tactics. The seminar concluded with a lively Q&A and discussion session.
