Deputy Director Doris Wang was delighted to attend the Fairbank Center’s first-ever 2025 Student Research Showcase at Harvard University on May 27. The event featured nine graduating students from around the world presenting their research on Taiwan, China, and their historical, cultural, and international security impacts on the U.S.
Among the graduates, Taiwanese-American Cosette Wu stood out. She was awarded the 2025 Taiwan Study Undergraduate Essay Prize for her paper on” The Effect of the 2017 Techno-Geopolitical Shock on the US-Taiwan Innovation Relationship.”
Congratulations, Cosette! Not only has she excelled academically, but she’s also deeply committed to defending Taiwan’s democracy and human rights. We wish her all the best in her post-graduation journey—Go Cosette and go Taiwan!
