Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke has hosted the 3rd Food Drive Fest, which took place on April 16th and 17th 2025 in Hawaii State Capitol. Members from State Government, State Legislature and Honolulu City & County as well as the public have actively participated. Director General Jerry Chang was joined by Tzu Chi Foundation to make donations of Taiwanese food.
The extreme weather caused by climate change has been resulting in the deteriorating crisis of food insecurity. As part of ohana and responsible partner, TECO hopes to join this meaninful event and make contributions as well as further demonstrates the spirit of "Taiwan Can Help, and Taiwan is Helping!". We hope the event a great success.
Hawaii's "Food Drive Fest" aims to support Hawaii Foodbank and local businesses. This event was launched by Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke and second gentlemen Michael Luke. This year marks the 3rd anniversary. (E)
